Abstract:

"Chapel Hill leaders jockey to make Franklin Street a dynamic space." While some legacy destinations in the downtown district remain, many have been forced out due to the unprecedented price for land. Before the Pandemic, prices were around $4 to $5 million per acre. Now they are $6 to $8 million.
