A cooperative effort between the Department of Forestry at North Carolina State University and the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission seeks to determine why. Using sophisticated computers and telemetry, wildlife biologists seek to learn how rabbits use different kinds of cover and to estimate how well the necessities of life are met by the various kinds of habitat.
