The white building in the foreground I believe was the (Cecil?) Satterwhite Store. Attached to it was a small "shed" with flag and front (public) and back (postmaster) doors. Inside of the shed was the post office with a single wall of PO Boxes and a two-piece (top/bottom halves) door between the customer and the work sides.
