James Jenkins handing over a copy of his book, Greenville and Pitt County at the Turn of the Century, to David J. Whichard. Jenkins complied copies of the Eastern Reflector and Daily Reflector from 1892-1909, when Whichard's father was the paper's editor, for his book. Date from negative sleeve.

David Julian Whichard is depicted on the left. He was not a "Sr". His name was his alone. His father was David Jordan, and his son was David Jordan II.
