Description
Video recording of the Evelyn Fike Laupus Exhibit Gallery naming ceremony which took place September 7, 2007 at Laupus Health Sciences Library. Laupus was a nurse who married the Dr. William E. Laupus the first dean of the East Carolina University School of Medicine and whom the Laupus Health Sciences Library was named after. Alongside her husband, Fike helped transform the newly formed medical school and the Exhibity Gallery in the Laupus Library is named in her honor and her portrait hangs within the space. This video recording was originally donated as a born-digital file in .vob format. Creator: Joyner, Max Ray, Sr.
