May pole at Agnes Fullilove School.  The trees are next to Myrtle Avenue.  Directly behind the pole is one of the large logs that  we had to play on.  The students walked in a synchronized movement that wove the ribbons around the pole from top to bottom.  Miss Agnes Fullilove was the longtime school principal, she used a paddle to discipline students, I had my corporal punishment almost 50 yrs ago and still don't have any negative side effects!  The school buildings are now the Greenville homeless shelter.
