From author: "Despite coming out as gay at a young age, I had very little understanding of the LGBT community prior to college. The LGBT community here in Greenville has given me the chance to understand what it means to celebrate my sexuality. I think I used to merely understand my sexuality as only a facet of my life, but now I see it as an amazing part of my life that deserves to be cherished. Although my sexuality and my own personal identity are one and the same, I have gained much more from realizing that my culture and my community are the most vital resources I have." Zachary is senior majoring in History Education.
