Description
Photograph album containing snapshots (1930s or 1940s). Locations include the Wright Brothers memorial (Kill Devil Hills, N.C.), Fort Raleigh and the Lost Colony theater (Manteo, N.C.), Singing Tower (Bok Gardens, Lake Wales Fla.), Coquina Clock Tower (Daytona Beach, Fla.), and other houses and structures. Images of unidentified individuals, including on visits to some of the mentioned attractions and on a tennis court. Two images of boys, most wearing Boy Scouts of America uniforms, seated together on a couch. One boy's uniform has insignia possibly indicating membership in Troop 25 from Farmville, N.C. Also contains 4 loose negatives and 3 loose photographs of A. C. Monk, Sr., and members of his office staff. Dates approximated.
