Description
Yellow Nazi Germany Armed Forces armband brought back from the war by Dr. Andrew Best. Dr. Best served in Italy from 1944-1946, during and after World War II. The armband reads "Deutsche Wehrmacht" which were the unified armed forces of Nazi Germany from 1936 to 1946. The armband was worn on the left arm of the uniform by volunteers who assisted the German Armed Forces in non-combat related roles, including food distribution and supplies deliveries.
