Directors and Promoters Conference of the Institute of Outdoor Drama. As you
know, the Conference will be held in Cherokee, North Carolina, October 5-7, 1990.

The panel you will serve on is tentatively titled: "Ethics and Professional
Theatre Practice�"� and is scheduled for Saturday, October 6, from 3:15pm until
5:00pm. Panel moderator will be Dr. Dale Miller, playwright and artistic
director of THE BATTLE OF TIPPECANOE. He will be in touch with you regarding
organization and preparation for the panel.
The topics we plan to deal with on the panel wiil be thought-provoking, hard-
hitting and stimulating. Panel members will be presented with difficult ethical
Situations and will be asked to consider possible courses of action in
hypothetical cases with no clear-cut solutions. There will be vigorous
differences of opinion on some issues and on others, unanimous agreement.
