I believe this to be now known or was known as Brawley Jr. High School. I went to school there after the desegregation of schools here in Scotland Neck, NC around 1968 or 69. This building held 3rd-8th grades and 9th grade was in a newer building east of this one with a gym and cafeteria just north. I remember the building very well and believe it still exists.noyzmakr@gmail.com

I'm curious if the Flannagan & son records have the plans for the school pictured here? We have photos of another very similar school at Scotland Neck, believed to a be a Rosenwald school (but it may be a slightly different white school), and I'd like to confirm. Please see https://www.flickr.com/photos/north-carolina-state-archives/51435713992/in/photostream/. Several of the architectural details are different but the bulk are very similar.
