Description
Eighteen photographs from a scrapbook of several generations of the Wiley Howell Cobb (1819-1897) and wife Elizabeth Joyner Cobb Family of Farmville and Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina. Included are Charles Cobb and wife John Anna Moore Cobb, Kinchen Wiley Cobb and wife Dorothy Long Cobb, and Charles D. Cobb and wife Jane Eloise Tobias Cobb and their children David, Toby, Kin and Jeff Cobb. Also included is the boyhood home of Dr. Henry Wood Tobias in Donaldson, PA. Locations in photographs include Pitt Street in Greenville, N.C., Duke University in Durham, N.C., and Sebec Lake, Maine. Photographs were loaned for digitization by Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" Cobb.

The picture of the man in auto "sell Tobacco in Greenville" was indeed my fraternal Granfather Kinchen Wiley Cobb he and his wife Dorothy resided at 300 s. Pitt st Greenville
