- A business letter from Dr. F. R. Taylor, Councilor of the Eighth District of the Medical Society of the State of North Carolina in High Point, N.C. addressed to Dr. S. Wallace Hoffman in Statesville, N.C. Dr. Taylor says that he took up a collection to defray the expenses of the Entertainment Committee and has included a check for $4.50 left over for a special fund for Miss Osbach. Dr. Taylor also suggests that there shouldn't be any alcohol at future meetings to avoid the mess it caused at their recent meeting when the president of the organization was too drunk to preside.
