Memorandum from the American Expedition Forces Headquarters, Seventh Army Corps. It is a reprint of a telegram from Commander-in-Chief General Pershing, which was then ordered by Major General Morton to be read at the first reveille and the first retreat to the 29th Division. The telegram thanks the officers and soldiers of the American Expeditionary Forces for their “heroic efforts have made possible this glorious result,” the end of the war. more...
