Description
Postcard addressed to Flavel W. Foster signed "Ex Reb" which includes a newspaper article pasted down about the loss of a saw at Foster's sawmill near New Hannover County, N.C. after it struck a cannonball lodged in a section of a sawed law felled on the bank of the Northeast river near Big Bridge (Blossom's) ferry during the Carolinas Campaign.
