ECTC luggage tag
Description
East Carolina Teachers College luggage tag. The front of the tag includes the following handwritten note, which refers to Jarvis Hall: "First men's dormitory, Nov. 18, 1948." The back of the luggage tag includes the handwritten note "Spade which was used for the 'Breaking of Ground,' July 2, 1908," indicating that the tag served as a label for the ceremonial shovel used in the college's groundbreaking.
