Steamer Hertford
Description
Photographic print of the steamer Hertford, previously named Olive. The Olive sank in a storm on the Chowan River in 1903, it was then raised and repaired and returned to service under the name Hertford. The newly rebuilt boat continued in service for the Albemarle Steam Navigation Company until 1914 when it was replaced by a newer vessel. Date approximated.
