Description
Report of The Patient Circle to the 77th Annual Convention of the North Carolina Branch of The King's Daughters and Sons, in Greenville, North Carolina. The International Order of the King's Daughters and Sons, an international, inter-racial, and inter-denominational organization, was founded in 1886. The Greenville, N.C., circle is the Patient Circle. The Purposes of the order are to promote Christian activities and help develop spiritual lives. Many of the local circles operate camps, hospitals, homes for the aged, educational programs, and other types of charitable service committees and institutions. The circles also provide scholarships to students studying for the ministry, students in the health care field, and Native American students.
