Description
Typed and signed letter from John E. Hunt, New Jersey congressman of the 1st district, to Mary Wilson at the Woodbury Country Club. The letter discusses the case of her son Stephen Wilson, who was charged with narcotics possession and trafficking in Mexico. Wilson, a counselor at the Tideland Mental Health Center in Washington, N.C., was imprisoned in June 1973 on phony drug trafficking charges while on vacation in Mexico. The Stephen H. Wilson Papers detail his arrest, imprisonment, and eventual escape.
