Description
A handwritten letter from L. Sills in Belford, North Carolina addressed to Don. The letter comments on the local military situation and discusses wounded individuals. Located in Nash County, Belford was settled by David Sills Jr. in the late 18th century and eventually grew to over six thousand acres in Nash, Franklin, and Warren counties and at one time operated its own post office and school.
