Craw expresses her gratitude for Dillon’s condolences at the loss of her husband, Demas “Nick” Craw. She thanks him for sending a card and photograph, and expresses her hope for a short victory. Written in the bottom left-hand corner is a note that the letter was answered on 10 June 1943.
