- A Greenville resident stands on the bumper of his partially submerged car in the wake of the storm. The extent of the floodwaters can be seen in the distance beyond the trees, The storm dropped between 15 and 20 inches of rain on the area only a week after Hurricane Dennis drenched the area with 7 to 10 inches of precipitation.
