Description
Out of the jaws of death published in the Roswell Daily Record. The article describes the efforts of the United States Lifesaving Service in Washington, Delaware, and across the United States. Shipwrecks described include The Swordfish off of the coast of Delaware and the Torrisdale off the coast of Washington. The day-to-day duties of the Service members are described and images show them at work.
