The front of this card depicts a young couple skating on a frozen pond, the woman wearing a red dress with a camel-brown coat, a red scarf on her head and carrying a hand muff and the young man wearing blue coat, brown hat with a red scarf around his neck. The young man has his left arm extended, with his hand holding a stick and pointing forward. The words "Vaseline, Chesebrough Manfg. Co., No.110 Front St., New York; No.41 Holborn Viaduct, London E.C.; No.246 Notre Dame St., Montreal." At the bottom in tiny print is stamped Wemple & Company, New York. The reverse of the card displays a poem written in honor of "The Elixir Vitae". At the bottom are listed: Pure Vaseline (for medicinal use), Pomade Vaseline (for the hair), Vaseline Cold Cream (for skin), Vaseline Camphor Ice (chapped skin), Vaseline Toilet Soap, and Vaseline Confections (for internal use). more...
