I am grandaughter of Duplin Counciman Wm. F. Murphy, and great-granddaughter of Josephine (Bryan)Worth. After her father was killed in the Battle of Mobile, jouralist Josie Worth was raised by her uncle, Wimington mens-wear merchant Robert Bryan. She also was related to Georgia Pearsall Hearne, Greenville artist member of ECTC faculty, and member of the Red Springs' Pearsall family. I wonder if B. F. Pearsall might be related to them? He certainly would have known Robert Bryan, promenant in New Hanover County.
