Brenda Saulter, a secretary for the Greenville police department holds what may be a piece of the space shuttle Challenger. The shuttle was destroyed in a fiery blast just 17 seconds after liftoff, Jan. 28. The piece of light-weight debris was found by East Carolina University student Edward Hook, III, of Asheboro, who brought the piece to Greenville from Hatteras.
