Burned wreckage is all that is left of the Pitt County Memorial Hospital medical helicopter "EastCare" after it crashed in the Hoffman Forest near Pollocksville Thursday night about 9:30. The Bell 206 helicopter had left the U.S. Naval Hospital at Camp Lejeune at 8:59 to return to Pitt Co. Memorial hospital with a 3 1/2 month-old infant.
