Identifier: Historic Hope Plantation
Sheraton-style rope field bed with turned birch posts (HOA 81", WOA 54" LOA 78 1/2"). Foot posts are reeded, and turned with rims and rings. Headboard is made of pine. All wood is stained to simulate mahogany. The ogee arched canopy is hinged at the top. Bed hangings are reproduction dimity (R98.02.01).
