- This upright chest is mahogany. Two doors open outward from center front with two brass hinges on each door. Inside the chest, the center section has a top row of 5, cloth-lined compartments. Each holds a glass jar with a glass stopper. Below top row of bottles are 3 rows of drawers: top row has 3 small drawers with ivory knobs, 2nd and 3rd rows are one drawer each. Knob is missing on middle row. Each side door is cloth lined. Left door has 7 bottles in 9 compartments and right door has 4 bottles in 9 compartments. Concealed compartment with sliding panel cover at top back of chest houses 4 glass bottles.
