Identifier: Historic Hope Plantation
Walnut slant-top desk (HOA 42 3/4" LOA 37 1/2" DOA 21 1/2"). Step-down, tripartate interior. Applied molding between writing area and lower drawers. Interior and exterior drawers are banded with veneer. The center of the writing surface has a secret compartment with a sliding door. Three drawers in the case. Ball feet and bed moulding are replaced. Locks and valances replaced.
