I was issued a shoe brush when I went into the Navy in 1960. I still use it today thru 42 yrs of law enforcement shining my shoes. .The brush has printed No 114

I’m sitting here shining my shoes with an Empire Shoe Brush that belonged to my dad. He probably bought it in the early 1960’s. Now at 75 years old I’m overcome to think that I’m using and touching the same brush he did. It brings back a flood of memories.
