Description: Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins on the couch in their house in Bethel, N.C. The Jenkins's had been next door neighbors to Ronald Kimber in downtown Greenville, where they were well-known residents living at 102 W. 1st Street. The African American neighborhood in this area was removed and the area redeveloped in the 1960s to create a town common area.
