Title: Amalgamator
Identifier: 2011.001.0115 (https://digital.lib.ecu.edu/21778)
Description: Alloy and Mercury Amalgamator. Used for mixing mercury with silver and tin alloys to create amalgam fillings. This amalgamator has a plunger made of iron and steel that, upon pressing, allows the amalgam to exit through a hole on the side. This hole would have had some kind of attachment tube or hose. There are also two attachments for tubes or hoses on the opposite side of the amalgamator, possibly for the introduction of the mercury and the alloy.
