The reverse of the card describes the dermatologic conditions as well as the diagnosis and treatment. Lichen Planus is a chronic inflammatory dermatosis, the elementary lesions of which consist of small polygonal, flat glistening, red or bluish red papules, some slightly umbilicated, which tend to coalesce and form irregular and raised slightly scaling patches. Lichen Planus may be known as Lichen ruber planus. Lichen Planus Verrucosus is the form that occurs most frequently on the legs.
