Description: This slender red cap gun from the late 1940s, early 1950s could not easily be mistaken for the real thing making it a popular choice. To work the gun a cap filled with powder was inserted into the top of the gun, and once the trigger was pulled a popping noise would sound indicating that the gun had fired. The accompanying video describes the object in more detail. Date approximated.
