Documents include a typed family tree listing descendents of Mathias Tyson (b. 1663 - d.1710 in Hyde County) and Jan Mattison (b. unknown – d. 1683 in Virginia) with a handwritten note “Some major branches of the Tyson-May Reunion.”

The second document is about Jan Mattison, John Tyson, and his wife Susannika from the Tyson-May Reunion on November 28, 1982. According to the entry, “In 1679, John Tyson and his wife Susannika and their son Mathias Tyson, bought land from William Andrews in Northampton County, Virginia. Although the surname “Tyson” was used on the deed, the original deed book listed the purchase under “Mattison, John his Conveyance from Mr. Wm. Andrews.”

The third document is a typed family tree listing “some May-Tyson-Joyner connections.” The document first lists John May in Pitt County circa 1745 and his wife Mary Stafford who was born circa 1717. Other surnames mentioned include May, Joyner, Daniel, Gindrat, English, Maner, Garnette, Paisley, Graham, Vines, Williams, Stafford, Johnson, and Tison.
