This collection contains the records (1873-2010) of the fraternal secret society Knights of Pythias Grand Lodge, Domain of North Carolina. Records include biennial and annual reports of local lodges, the Records of Proceedings for the annual sessions of the Grand Lodge, financial records, minute book, constitutions and bylaws, publications and items such as the 1909 Pythian Service Book.

Imperial folio sheets, pasted on linen backing (probably in 18th century) with some insect damage and repairs, and some loss of information. Framed dimensions: 50-1/4" x 62-1/2". Scale: 1" = 5 miles. The Rich Elkins Papers (1994-2002) is a collection of publications and clippings on the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender communities in North Carolina, South Carolina, and New York with some of the materials from the LGBT community in Greenville, N.C. located in Eastern North Carolina. Richard "Rich" Elkins has been active in the Eastern N.C. LGBT community for many years and these materials reflect his involvement.
Included are the records (1961-2020) of the Dilettante Book Club of Greenville, North Carolina. Members of the ECC (East Carolina College) Faculty Wives Club met in September 1961 to start the book club and established the name Dilettante Book Club at their October 1961 meeting.

The Zion's Landmark Vol. 23, No. 7 and Vol. 32, No. 7 (10/15/1890 and 2/15/1899) periodical published semi-monthly by Zion's Landmark Print, Wilson, North Carolina (Primitive, or Old School Baptist) that was in the collection has since been transferred to the North Carolina Collection as of 2022.
Collection consists of five scrapbooks containing items related to the life of Judge Oliver H. Allen (b. March 20, 1850, Wake Co., N.C.; raised in Duplin Co., N.C.; d. December 16, 1925, Kinston, N.C.) and his ancestors and descendants. The date span covered is 1826 to 1980. Of particular interest are items related to Judge Allen's life, the Hicks family of Granville Co., N.C. (1826-1832 and photocopies of documents for late 1700s), the WWI service of William A. Allen and Judge Allen's sons Matthew H. Allen and Reynold Tatum Allen, and the lives of Judge Allen's daughter Martha Allen Barnes and her daughter Sarah Allen Barnes who married Benjamin Bruce Sugg, Jr. Items include clippings, correspondence, Oxford Academy and Trinity College student materials, photographs, resolutions, WWI military records, funeral bulletins, booklets, prints, and postcards. The Creative Learning Center provides adult day care services in Greenville North Carolina. In the mid- 1980s, the East Carolina School of medicine donated $100,000 to start a satellite center in Farmville, NC. This file contains clippings, brochures, and photographs related to the opening of the Farmville satellite center.
