Papers of Eudora Welty (1909-1986 [Bulk: 1930-1980], undated) documenting the life and literary career of the noted Jackson, Mississippi-born American short story writer, novelist, journalist, photographer, and educator, who wrote about the American South; including correspondence; manuscripts, original art, photographic prints, proofs of published materials, audio recordings, printed material, and loose manuscript items transferred from the Stuart Wright Book Collection, by or about Eudora Welty, Donald Davie, Richard Ghormley Eberhart, Shelby Foote, Ross Macdonald, Katherine Anne Porter, George William Russell, Allen Tate, Robert Penn Warren, and others; in English & French language.
This collection consists of a single photo album that documents, housing, local life and customs, cremation ceremonies, animals, and Seventh Day Adventist Missions in various Southern Pacific Locations.

Considerable material pertains to State Senator Yancey T. Ormond of Greene County.
This collection (c. 1880-2001) contains the papers of three generations of U.S. Navy officers whose service covered the years 1891 through 1963. Correspondence, orders, reports, photographs, certificates, publications, a diary, ships histories, clippings and reminiscences document their careers and that of Waldron McLellon's uncle who served in the U.S. Navy from 1934 through 1952. Waldron M. McLellon graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1941 and copious material relates to the lives of the USNA Class of 1941 members through 2001. Other papers concern the genealogy of Waldron McLellon's family.
