Joe Gladstone Norman was born on November 5, 1933 in the United States. Norman served in the US Army in Geislingen, Leipheim, Munster, Swabish Gmund, and Ulm, Germany (1956), and Austria (1955). The collection spans 1955-1962 and documents Norman's overseas service, immunizations records, and an Army Graphic Training Aid.
