This collection (c. 1880-2001) contains the papers of three generations of U.S. Navy officers whose service covered the years 1891 through 1963. Correspondence, orders, reports, photographs, certificates, publications, a diary, ships histories, clippings and reminiscences document their careers and that of Waldron McLellon's uncle who served in the U.S. Navy from 1934 through 1952. Waldron M. McLellon graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1941 and copious material relates to the lives of the USNA Class of 1941 members through 2001. Other papers concern the genealogy of Waldron McLellon's family.

Collection consists of material related to the history of the Lynndale Garden Club of Greenville, North Carolina, from its founding in 1974 to 2016. Included are meeting minutes, executive board minutes, newsletters, photographs, clippings, yearbooks, brochures, membership rosters, treasurer reports, constitutions and by-laws, and engagement calendar books put out by the Garden Club of North Carolina, Inc., which contain photographs of winning arrangements by garden club members (including members of Lynndale Garden Club).
"An Accurate Map of North and South Carolina with Their Indian Frontiers" by Henry Mouzon, first published in 1775. Created from detailed surveys conducted by Mouzon and others, the map offers a comprehensive depiction of the geographical and political landscape of the Carolinas prior to the American Revolution. It includes natural features such as mountains, rivers, swamps, and coastal soundings, along with manmade elements like roads, Indian paths, townships, and provincial boundaries. Widely regarded as one of the most authoritative maps of the region during the period, it was used extensively by both British and American forces during the Revolutionary War.
