Papers (1942-1946, 1951, 1991), of U.S. Naval photo interpreter and intelligence officer, including memos, photographs, pamphlets, operations manuals, worksheets, maps, reports, and ephemera reflecting operations at Normandy, Cherbourg, Sicily, and Guam during World War II.

This collection consists of materials and documents (1918-1986) pertaining to the lives and military service of Macon Jasper "Jack" Moye, Sr. and his son, Macon Jasper "Jack" Moye, Jr. Most of the collection pertains to Macon J. Moye, Jr.'s military career (1937-1968), as well as his personal life and teaching career. Macon J. Moye, Jr.'s materials include official documents and correspondence from his career in the U.S. Army, personal correspondence with his wife, photographs, clippings, ephemera, and books and other published material relating to his career and life. Macon J. Moye, Sr.'s materials (1918-1966) consist of official documents, manuals, and correspondence from his service during WWI. His materials also include personal items, like contracts pertaining to his tobacco warehouse and clippings about his life and family.

This collection (1850-1988) includes records pertaining to Whitaker's Chapel, a Methodist Church near Enfield in Northeastern North Carolina, and minutes (1848-1939) of the Methodist Protestant Church's Roanoke Circuit to which it belonged.

Papers (1861-1878, 1892) consisting of correspondence, specifically special orders, general orders, circulars, and telegrams. Collection also includes a scrapbook and the Howard Family Tree.

The Gerda Nischan Papers contains letters (1930, 1946-1947), handwritten in German between Otto Baumann and his wife, Barbara Hock, all but one written during the time Baumann was a German soldier in a French prisoner of war camp, 1946-1947, and typescripts in English by Baumann's daughter, Gerda Nischa, including an explanation of the letters, and 7 poems inspired by the letters. In 2010 Gerda Nischan wrote a book based on the letters titled Briefe an einen Kriegsgefangenen, an English translation written in 2014 (Letters to a Prisoner of War), and a novel in German (2013) called Dieses neue Leben which are included in these papers.

Organizational files (1952-2010) for the Sons of The Revolution in the State of North Carolina including minutes, annual reports, membership rosters, secretary's correspondence, financial records, reports, by-laws, newsletters, project files, publications, programs, photographs, and miscellany.

Papers (1921-2002) musical scores, published sheet music and lyrics, biographical articles, contracts, LPs, cassettes, videotapes, reel to reel tapes, compact discs, clippings and photographs pertaining to noted North Carolinian Loonis R. McGlohon's career as a musical composer, arranger, orchestra leader and performer of jazz, popular and sacred music. Many items also relate to McGlohon's personal life such as photographs, reel to reel tapes of family events, passports, deeds, wills, death and birth certificates, military discharge papers and correspondence with well-known musicians, actors and political figures.

The over eleven cubic feet of papers (1857-2021) in this collection compiled by local historian Edward Ellis are related to the history of Havelock and New Bern, N.C., the Civil War (especially New Bern and Eastern North Carolina), Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station, Sir Henry Havelock and Ellis's publications. Items included are aerial photographs (1938/1939, 1950) of Craven, Pamlico and Carteret counties, N.C.; New Bern Civil War-related items; two issues of The New York Times (1862) related to the Civil War in New Bern; 1857 issues of The Illustrated London News, Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper, Harper's Weekly and The New York Times related to Sir Henry Havelock and the war in India; ephemera, engravings, prints and an image on glass related to Sir Henry Havelock; Havelock Tobacco caddy labels; Havelock Progress newspaper negatives (1981-1983); photographs used in Ellis's book Historic Images of Havelock and Cherry Point (2010); manuscripts for Ellis's books In This Small Place (2005), and New Bern History 101 (2009); and four cubic feet of historical files relating to Havelock and New Bern, N.C., Cherry Point, the Civil War, genealogy and other historical topics. Also included are a short history of the Second Marine Aircraft Wing, and ninety-seven photographs (1941) with corresponding indexes and map documenting property adjoining Havelock, N.C. prior to demolition of buildings for construction of Cherry Point Marine Air Station. The photographs include scenes of farm houses, barns, outbuildings, fishing camps, fields, roads, and waterways.

The Attic officially opened September 7, 1971, in Greenville, NC. The nightclub served as a local venue for entertainment and live music. The collection spans 1970-1985 and includes photographs, posters, advertisements, t-shirts, and a few publications. The strength of the collection is in documenting the variety of music performed as well as the club's later efforts to branch out into comedy and other forms of entertainment.

Collection consists of material related to the history of the Lynndale Garden Club of Greenville, North Carolina, from its founding in 1974 to 2016. Included are meeting minutes, executive board minutes, newsletters, photographs, clippings, yearbooks, brochures, membership rosters, treasurer reports, constitutions and by-laws, and engagement calendar books put out by the Garden Club of North Carolina, Inc., which contain photographs of winning arrangements by garden club members (including members of Lynndale Garden Club).

Papers (1788-1869, 1965) Hoyle J. Windley, of Bath, NC, a teacher, postmaster, and lieutenant in the NC militia, and his children, consisting of correspondence, store accounts, receipts, promissory notes, wills, summonses, bill of sale, special events-major fire, tournaments, coronation Ball, etc.

Papers (1947-1960, undated) consisting of correspondence, periodicals, church bulletins, newspaper clippings, miscellaneous, letters, lifestyles, transportations, education facilities.

Material relating to the life of Clarence Stasavich before he came to East Carolina University in 1962 to be the head football coach (and later athletic director) and after his death in 1975. Included is correspondence (1942-1945) related to his time in the U.S. Navy during World War II where he was an LST Commander in several theatres of war, items related to his time at Lenoir Rhyne College as a football coach prior to coming to East Carolina University, and clippings and documents related to his death in 1975, the subsequent memorial service, and scholarships created in his memory.
