Papers (1917-1941) of Frank M. Wooten Sr. (1875-1941), a leading Greenville attorney, Superior Court judge, and member of the N.C. General Assembly, and Greenville mayor, consisting of correspondence during first World War, letters, political campaign, pamphlets concerning tobacco, cultivation, agricultural alcohol, clipping, financial papers, etc.
Thomas Harriot was born around 1560 in Oxfordshire, England. He was a cartographer, historian and surveyor for Sir Walter Raleigh's second expedition to Virgina in 1585. The collection is from 2004 and includes a copy of a portrait of Thomas Harriot.

Dees and to her son Tony while he was serving in the U. S. Army in Georgia and Europe; also letters from Leon W. Jackson's friend, Pfc. Jerrold S. Robinson to Lois (Mrs. Claude E.) Dees and Leon W. Photograph album documenting the travels (1951) of the USS Seiverling through stops in Pearl Harbor, Midway, Japan, and probably Hong Kong, participation in the Taiwan Strait Patrol, and bombardments near Songjin, North Korea. Photographs depict not only the activities of the sailors, but also activities of the local people. Also included are photographs of other U.S. Navy ships, and small boats carrying surrendering North Koreans.

Thomas J. Jarvis was born on January 18, 1836 in Jarvisburg, North Carolina. He was a teacher, lawyer, and politician. The collection is dated February 1, 1890 and includes a letter from Thomas Jordan Jarvis in Greenville, North Carolina to Horace P. Gates in New York, New York. The strength of the collection is Jarvis' accepting Gates' invitation to meet Civil War veterans of the Roanoke Island Campaign and his description of his own service during the Civil War.
