Two "professional" repairs and one repair with tape: one in the land image and one in the ocean. Contains a watermark on the left side of a fools cap. Location: Vault.

Glenn C. Ames Collection

Glenn Charles Ames, born 29 March 1913 in Wisconsin, served the US Military from 1935-1975, primarily in the National Guard. The Glenn C. Ames collection spans the years 1927-1986 and consists of 598 items, including manuscripts, printed materials, and photographic prints relating primarily to his service in the 41st Infantry Division, United States Army, during World War II. The collection also documents his service as commanding general of the California National Guard, 1967-1975.

Smith - Tyson Family Collection

Collection (1901-1926) of correspondence received by Maud Smith (née Tyson) and her husband Walter Edward "Edd" Smith, from family and friends. Papers of Edmund J. Lilly, Jr.(1894-1978) a U. S. Army artillery officer in World War I and World War II, who served as commander of the 57th Philippine Scouts and regimental commander, experienced the Bataan Death March and was a POW until 1945. The collection does not include the originals, but facsimiles of Lilly's military records, correspondence, clippings, a hymnal, letters, and photographs.

Belva Agnes Ross Archbell correspondence

Correspondence (1910-1911, 1913-1914) between Belva Agnes Ross and her parents William Henry Ross and Lida Baynor Little Ross and her brother Wilbur "Buddy" Ross while she is attending East Carolina Teachers Training School in Greenville, North Carolina. Wilbur Ross also started attending ECTTS with his sister in October 1910, but at some point he left to attend Guilford College. The Rosses were from Edward community about three miles east of Aurora in Beaufort County, North Carolina. Belva had to withdraw from school in January 1911 because she contracted the measles, but she returned to school at least by October 1913. Also included are abstracts of the correspondence created by Belva Ross's grandson Roy A. Archbell, Jr.
