This collection consists of a large scrapbook dedicated to B. Bruce Sugg, Jr., upon his retirement from the Board of Directors for the North Carolina National Bank. The scrapbook includes ads, articles, and photographs related to the State Bank Trust Co. and the North Carolina National Bank. The two banks merged in 1969, while Sugg, Jr., was Senior Vice President and Trust Officer. According to sugg family members, the ads were written by Mr. Sugg.
Scrapbook created by Bertha Bulluck commemorating her time as a student at East Carolina Teachers College as well her early life in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The scrapbook contains letters, writings, newspaper clippings, memorobilia, and other personal items related to Bulluck's time at ECTC. Materials related to Bulluck's family and personal life were removed from the scrapbook prior to its donation by her family.
The Service League of Greenville (North Carolina) was established in 1938 as a non-profit organization and is a very active group dedicated to ensuring quality health care and assistance to individuals, and the Greenville community. This collection includes three scrapbooks covering the years 1938 to 1976, three disks containing information from the scrapbooks, a hard drive with digital information for the years 1976 to 2013, papers related to the presentation of these records to this repository in 2014, a member's material that covers forty years (1973-2013) of participation, and material (2013-2023) related to their fund-raising events and the projects that are funded.
