This collection contains student handbooks that include university hours, campus calendars, and social regulations.

Biographical/historical information

The first student handbook was created by the Young Women's Christian Association of East Carolina Teachers College and included information on the YWCA, the Student Self-Government Association, the Athletic Association, school hours and calendars, and social regulations. From 1927 through 1939 the handbook was published by the Student Self-Government Association.
