The School of Nursing Student Handbook contains information on graduation requirements, student rights, contact information, and a listing of approved courses for the curriculum.
The East Carolina School of Nursing was approved by the North Carolina General Assembly in 1959. The first seventeen graduates received their nursing degrees in 1964. In 1975, a graduate program was proved by UNC administration for ECU. In 2007, enrollment numbers facilitated the change of the program to the College of Nursing.
