Dr. Philip G. Rogers serves as the 12th chancellor of East Carolina University, beginning the role on March 15, 2021. He was formerly senior vice president at the American Council on Education beginning work there in 2013. Prior to that Rogers was Chief of Staff at ECU. Rogers earned a doctoral degree in higher education management from the University of Pennsylvania, a master's degree in public administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a bachelor's degree in communications from Wake Forest University.
