Employee Biographical Records inlcude a file for most employees exempt from the State Personnel Act as defined under the North Carolina General Statute Chapter 126. This includes temporary employees, as well as faculty, senior academic and administrative officers, and certain professional positions involved in instruction, organized research, public service, academic support, student services, and institutional support. These files may include applications for employment, correspondence, resumes or vitae, promotion documentation, and salary information.
