Biographical/historical information

Thomas Brewer came to East Carolina from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. A historian, he served as Chancellor of East Carolina after the retirement of Dr. Leo Jenkins. In 1982, he was succeeded by John Howell.

Collection contains correspondence, committee reports, administrative communication, and publications related to the selection and service of Thomas Bowman Brewer as Chancellor of East Carolina University.
