The Greenville Tobacco Company, Greenville, North Carolina, was created in 1927 by Charles Washington Howard (April 16,1886-February 19, 1953) who was president and treasurer from 1927 until he died in 1953. While Charles Howard was President of this company, he was also a Director of the State Bank and Trust Company and a member of the official Board of the Jarvis Memorial Methodist Church.
